Llaüts steeped in history for Unforgettable Adventures
Traditional llaüts
At The Pirates of Cap de Creus, our passion for the sea and our respect for tradition are reflected in each of our vessels. Our fleet is composed of authentic traditional llaüts, boats with a soul that have been carefully restored to offer you a unique and authentic sailing experience through the waters of the Cap de Creus Natural Park.
Each llaüt has its own history and personality, but they all share the same spirit: to accompany you on a memorable adventure, showing you the spectacular landscapes of the Costa Brava from a privileged perspective and with maximum comfort.
The Origin of Our Adventure
The Valkyrie
“Valkiria”, a majestic Minorcan llaüt from 1973, was the first to join our pirate family. It arrived from Menorca to become the heart of our project, Eco Xiri Mar d’Amunt (now The Pirates of Cap de Creus). With it, everything began, and it has been the image and the engine that has driven us to explore every corner of Cap de Creus, serving as the inspiration for our adventures and the witness to the start of a great passion.

Due to growing demand and our desire to offer more experiences, our fleet was expanded with the addition of the “Llop de Mar”. This llaüt, with origins in the 80s, represents the continuity of tradition and our commitment to authentic sailing. It dedicates its days to taking you on a trip through the beautiful Mar d’Amunt, the north side of Cap de Creus, discovering hidden coves and unique landscapes.

Its name refers to the Inikets, ancient inhabitants of the Empordà, symbolizing our connection to the history and roots of the region. It spends its days taking you on a journey through the beautiful Mar d’Amunt, the north side of Cap de Creus, discovering hidden coves and unique landscapes.
