At Els Pirates del Cap de Creus, we not only invite you to explore the beauty of this natural paradise, but we also actively work to protect it. That’s why, from our crew and with the support of participants and collaborators in the project, we actively promote the care of our environment, a fundamental pillar of our philosophy.
Our involvement goes beyond recreational navigation. As part of our commitment, we weekly organize beach clean-up days where we collect all kinds of waste. But our work doesn’t end there: subsequently, we analyze and select this waste for educational purposes. We firmly believe in the power of awareness, and that’s why we use the collected objects to conduct workshops and activities with children and adolescents. In this way, we convey the importance of keeping our environment clean, the effects of pollution, and foster a new generation of environmental guardians.

Our commitment to sustainability and responsible environmental management is reinforced by our involvement with the EUROPARC Certification. This certification, awarded by the EUROPARC Federation (the largest network of protected areas in Europe), is a recognition for organizations that actively work to promote sustainable tourism and local development in natural parks and protected areas.
Being part of this initiative means that our operations and activities are aligned with the principles of sustainability, minimizing our environmental impact and contributing to the conservation of the ecological value of Cap de Creus. We work in close collaboration with the Natural Park managers to ensure that each of our actions contributes to its protection and improvement.
